Spoken Directions For Submitting work here.
Select an assignment from the list below. Review the material there and the directions for the assignment at the top of the page. Create a page on this wiki that follows the directions for your chosen assignment. You create a page by simply clicking 'add page' to the left. Then, start typing (or better, copy and paste from a word processing document). You can also add links, pictures and embed music and video right to your page. For embedding, check out the 'widgets' button on the editing tool bar. Give it a try, it's fun and brings a lot of content to a page. You don't have to though! For length of the assignment, it's more important to do something substantive and thorough, than to take up a certain amount of space. That being said, if this were handed in on paper, it would be a 2-3 page assignment.
Then, submit a Philosophical Peer Comment to
three of your classmates' pages. Your comment should be philosophical, analytical, personal, respectful and constructive. You don't have to agree with their position, and it's fine to play the Devil's Advocate or take a different perspective.
With your comment and a link to a website or clip that adds something interesting to the ideas being discussed. Explain why you selected that site and what it brings to the discussion.Wiki Assignments:
NOTE: Safari has some issues making pages on the wiki, but is fine for reading and clicking around. I'm a mac user, but I use Firexox on the wiki.
